Home defense works.

Devaughn, who police said was in the "drug business," shot at 25-year-old Kadeem Williams after Williams climbed into the apartment Devaughn shared with Akeilah Solomon at about 3:20 a.m. Monday, said Stephen Zappala Jr., the Allegheny County district attorney.

As the two fired shots at each other, Devaughn, 22, also struck the 20-year-old Solomon and his 16-year-old brother, Jaimill Kenney, with bullets, killing them. Williams was mortally wounded in the exchange but managed to run outside before dying, Zappala said.

It's not clear whether Devaughn will face charges for the shootings, Zappala said, because the investigation is continuing.

You know, the sad part of this is all sorts of people, right and left wing, will laugh at him and talk about what an idiot the guy was, but some kid somewhere has to grow up without a dad, some mom has no husband, etc. I'm sure this guy wasn't the smartest, but the whole "well he deserved to die" gets sickening after a while.

Well, it's more the "F-every one else and ha ha, they died" attitude that Americans have, compared to other parts of the world that seem more cohesive as a people, as in they can actually do things for the greater good, as compared to us.

The founders wrote that document to "create a civil society where people can live a decent life." Unfortunately we live in a society where bad people do bad things.

Clinging to a 200+ year old document written by guys who unfortunately did not have any way of knowing what the future held is just not wise, especially when many gun humpers only see the 2d Amendment as being meaningful and piss on or simply ignore the rest of the document.

There are other civil societies where people live decent lives, without gun fights in the streets and stores full of automatic weapons available to anyone with a debit card. Explain those, especially when they have no 2d Amendment...

Good guy with a gun almost saved Subway.

Nelson's well-intentions yielded a court summons for reckless endangerment and the firing of a weapon. A police officer explained that witnesses are encouraged to pay attention to details that they can share with law enforcement rather than proceed on their own. The rounds shot in pursuit of this robber could have hurt other bystanders.
