So apparently Axl Rose and a bunch of other musicians are galavanting around Europe touring as GNR. This is news to me. I was reading an article about Soul Asylum's new album on CNN, and it referenced their new bass player currently being on tour with GNR in Euro. A google search later turned up www.newgnr.com With a bunch of tour dates, pictures, reviews, etc. Apprently they are working on new material as well.

so has tommy stinson (ex-Replacements, was drafted into Axl's debacle) now replaced Karl Mueller (RIP) in Soul Asylum?

not that Soul Asylum has done anything worth listening to in about 20 years.
