All I'm saying is examine what the goals of your posts are. If it's to convince people of a liberal line of thinking, shamelessly arguing that they are dumb and you are smart because of the people with whom you associate your line of thought (but don't necessarily associate themselves with you) is not going to win you any converts.
If it's to gain the smug satisfaction of sitting at your computer and massaging your own ego through backhanded attacks that please no one but yourself (see N8 for an example) then by all means, continue.
You're not doing to cause of liberalism any favors, and as a liberal I don't wish to be associated with that kind of approach to arguments or that kind of superiority complex. If you claim to be a liberal, your goal should be to affect forward-thinking change (the specific changes we may not agree on). It is impossible to achieve that goal without diplomacy. Your posts not only lack diplomacy, they work counter to those of us that are trying to engage in respectful argument as your attitude shuts the minds of those who may have previously been listening.
