Right now as we speak, our public safety officers are responding to a call cuz a dude in a car hit a dude on a bike, and the dude on the bike is going ballistic on him and his car! Just heard it on our radios!!! HAHAHA!

Sorry but I don't find anything entertaining about someone on a bike getting hit by a car.

All I've heard so far is that the guy got hit by a car...jumped up and started wailing on the dudes car...busted at least one window...and was kicking the drivers ass. Waiting for someone to give an update...it went on for some time from what I understand.

Yeah there needs to be more of this. Some stories like this make the media a few times and MAYBE people will be more aware of bikes. BTW cleats leave a nice reminder that yes... you were that close. Never beat the crap out of someone but have had people scared, locked in their cars, until said "public safety officer" arrives. I have a great idea for a cell phone jammer. A little black box that I can mount on my bar that will sent out a VERY HIGH PITCHED radio noise. The FCC may not like me for that,but I don't like them for not make cell calls illegal while driving. So fair trade!!!

Would love to hear more about this. Not enough detail to know what really went down, but there sure are a lot of assumptions here. Let's hope the cyclist was in the right. I've seen lots of people do stupid things in cars, but I've also seen lots of cyclists do stupid things and then get unjustifiably angry at someone else who did nothing wrong.
About the only thing worse than a hypocrit is an out-of-control violent hypocrit on a high horse amped up on adrenalin from a near-death experience. Hopefully this is a case of a motorist getting what they deserved and not just another nut-job cyclist giving the rest of us a bad name.
