I've not taken my hadley apart yet, but I presume the ratchet mechanism is the same as on a hope - that is you have a number of pawls set into the freehub, and they engage on a ratchet on the inside of the hub body?
I ask because I note that the new hadley hubs have 108-point engagement, compared to 36 point on the older ones.
I assume that is 3 offset pairs of pawls, giving 36*3 = 108 engagemnt points.
If so it should be possible to just buy a enw freehub body and pawls to convert an old 36-engagement hub to 108-engagement.
Is this possible?
arse - just noticed that my hadley is only 30point engagemtn, even though it says on the web (unreal's site etc) it should be 36. I guess I have a really old one Still - question might be of interest to some 36-click monkeys
