Has Kona considered any sort of program like the Africa Bike but for Haiti? Mountain or utility bikes would be a cheap and environmentally sustainable means of transportation and commerce for the Haitian people. This is a country that needs to start literally from scratch. Why not develop Haiti into a real green country, starting with transportation! Why should we accept narrowly built roads when there is a great potential to build bike safe routes through the entire transportation system that inevitably will be rebuilt.
