Dude, the multiplayer is seriously incredible...

No XBL for me though. :( I don't have the $$$ for a 360.

Dude, I think Halo is by far the best party game though.

Counterstrike is good for being locked up in your room for 8 hours playing alone.

Yeah, but what counter-terrorist team is forced to buy their own weapons? Other than that it's pretty good.

I prefer the battle sims myself. If only EA could make their patch system more user friendly. I think they have the worst support ever even with their downloader.

I used to play but not much any more. im McGRIZZ on there. I was up to a 34 at one point but all the moders take the fun out of the game.

totaly,

but for online gaming I spend an hour a day usualy (dont watch tv so this replaces it) and I'm ranked quite well on servers (like, 29/8000) and nothing seems to beat the dynamics of cs to me.

Yeah. CS is a classic for sure.

On a different note, have you ever played Far Cry? Great single player game, I'd love to try it on the 360.

What is your computer setup? I play 1.6 on a laptop right now but I am probably going to get a desktop for the fall semester.

AMD 64 (939), 3200.
1 gig of RAM (dual 512's) (going to add another gig soon)
Some bling motherboard (forgot the name, but it was top of the line last year)
ATI 9600xt 256 video card.
Bunch of other little things.

The system runs well, and in combination with high speed (pulling 4300 kbps) it makes for a deadly machine.

Man, CS owns. When I worked for a nice start-up back in 2000, it was part of my "new hire" package. We had a dedicated server and the whole company would play for hours. Those were the good old days for sure.
