so u just ripped halo from a friends PC, and it says that my graphics card is known to cause serios trouble with the game, how do i by pass this and get it to work, thanks. :mumble:

is putting a new video card in allot of money and easy to do if i have a dell tower?

i got the game to work on my laptop, but when i select 'campaing' then choose difficulty nothing happens, as if the button is dead or somthing. stupid rip.

Putting in a new videocard in a dell tower is a walk in the park. Since i am from Norway and the prices on hardware is higher here than in th US i am not shure how much you will have to pay. But at decent videocard in Norway (GeForrce 6800 Ultra) runs at about 700USD.

Is this the Halo you are talking about?

You only need a 32mb video card. 64mb cards are under $50.

Figure 200 for a decent vid card (9500 pro area). Easy to install. Also, buy the game if you want it to work properly.

Um, you could start by telling us what your current video card is. There are often patches released post production to fix issues that come up.

More info on the rip would also be helpfull. Are you using the correct crack?
