Does anyone else get the Velonews mag? There is a big article on Tyler since he won the US Road Championship this year. He talks about his past and mentions that there is a cycling mafia and hints at some sort of conspiracy against him... I sure wish he's write a book and tell all.

I don't get the mag, but I did read the excerpts on velonews.com. My suspicion is that the mafia comment refers to opening up and spilling the beans about what was going on. It's pretty obvious now that he was involved with the Dr. at the center of Puerto and had he told everything it would have taken a large portion of the pro peleton down.

I'm pretty interested in reading that, I caught a bit of it at Interbike, but didn't get a chance to dig into it.
I will say though, that the photos that VN used were *kind* to him, as he is looking a little weathered these days.

It will be interesting if he ever does get around to writing a book, there is a lot of stuff that goes on behind the scenes that people don't see, or even hear about.

I started to read the article. it is interesting , and he sure does sound parnoid , but if some of what he is saying is true then maybe he has a good reason to be.
