Curious how something like the HS would react to the suspension on the SS2...wouldn't the tiny ring cause it to cycle?

I've been using a 'Schmidt on my trailbike for 2 years, and I'd much rather see them work on the drag in the overdrive gear than weight.

True........the weight isn't nearly as off putting as the drag.
Really after all is said and done, the damn thing is pretty awesome. The issues are all solvable and the benefits are huge by comparison. Until the CVT can be achieved the HS is it, and thats not a bad thing.

Has anyone paired the HS with a 10 speed cassette? Will the HS run a 10-speed chain? Also, will any 2-speed SRAM front shifter work with the HS?

I had to run an 83mm BB and a sh@t ton of spacers to get mine on the SS2, far from ideal and I don't plan on running it on this frame again....

Why would you not run it again?
My buddy had to run a 83mm BB and a lot of spacers too. They were placed pretty evenly on both sides. Its been fine for about 2 seasons. Ive seen a lot of guys with the SS2 run it this way and no problems.
