I'm looking for a simple stopwatch/chronograph to mount on my handlebar to time practice runs. I found a thread from last year about making your own (which I really don't feel like doing) and the DMC Sports timer. The DMC reviews I've found are so-so.

Even a simple watch with a big start/stop button that I could mount near the left grip. I just need to be able to hit the button with my thumb.

    Any new ideas?

Or do you think it's a waste of time?

But seriously I don't see what the fuss with fabbed one up would be, but an actual bar mounted, CHEAP timer with just the basic on/off function would be killer. If it was like a $6 part who wouldn't want one? Would be awesome for practice runs and different line selections...

Sportcount laptimer from ebay, cheap!! and it works!!

It's basically a finger timer used by swimmers so you can be guaranteed it's waterproof.
