How the hell are ya today?

I found out that I missed the cut for the one job I was a candidate for (this one was the one I went to Boston for the interview with the search firm). I guess I was number 6 out of about 20 people and the school with the vacant position chose to bring the top three in for interviews. Bummer.

On a brighter note, they are now contacting my references for the other job I'm going after - just sitting on pins and needles now waiting to hear from them with an offer.

Hockey last night and more hockey tonight too. I guess once a rink rat, always a rink rat right? :biggrin:

I getting the jitters I have not been on my bike since Sunday ! I need to ride! ( hopefully tonight or tommorow night I'll get out. )

I must say this 1:15 minute commute SUCKS !!! How the hell do people do this every day for life ? Thank goodness I only have to do it for 2 weeks.

A planned trip to the sandbox has been cancelled and that's always a good thing. It rained all day yesterday and its overcast today but looks to be burning off. Supposed to get into the 80's. And stay warm thru the weekend. So some definate riding road or mountain is on tap for the next few days.

Went to the Y yesterday for the first time this season. I can feel the sore starting to come on. I'll probably be crippled by lunch.

good morning Monkeys.. looks like a decent day out, it would be perfect if it would dry up a bit though. I think I am going to take a ride up the west-side Hwy in a bit.. we shall see.
Started my winter work out routine on monday which basically is working out 4 days a week and cardio 2-3 sometimes on the same days .. when I am not doing that I will be fighting a war.. in my basement.. it happened again.. Im hooked on Socom 3..

New bike is built up. No, I don't have pictures yet but I am working on it. Just too much damn fun to ride, and I have ridden maybe 50 miles in the past 4 days.

Golfed the other day too. Sorta a rough beginning since I haven't played in maybe a month and a half. Managed to squeeze in 27 holes and shot a 42, 38, 36.

Good morning. Another day at school means more crap to deal with and then paperwork. At least I had some good lessons today. Had to e-mail a few parents because their kids are obnoxious, but what else is new.

On the bright side, I have PB & J for lunch and boy am I ready.

I just went in for a physical for a new job and just have to wait for those results to be reported back to the people in charge and then everything should be a go for starting on November 10th. I did learn I have 20/10 vision today and that I have grown an inch since my last physical 10 years ago. Other than that just work, work, work.
