I guess thats what happends when you put a 28 watt bulb in a fixture designed for 12 watt. and it is really only the Power connector and wiring that is cooked the rest of the fixture isn't too badly burnt. It will be used again :dancing:
Sort of.stosh said:bwahhhhhhhhh
wait, was this one homemade?
wow, with just a stronger bulb... hrmmm odd.splat said:Sort of.
it was a Specilized Pro-view , 6 Volt ,12 watt Bulb, system designed to run off of 5 D batteries. well that Sucked , so I Changed out the Batteries for a 7.2 Volt 4 Ah Ni-cad pack. Worked good , Oncethe bulb dided I have since replaced it With 12 volt 10 Watt Bulb, Worked OK , but not bright enough for my taste. ( and 2 Ni-cad Packs ) so I went through All the biulbs I have and Decided on a 13.8 volt 28 watt bulb ( 12 volt 25 watt is the same bulb ) well that was worked Good with the exception of heat issues , if you keep moving you are OK with the cooling , but stop too much or too wam a night and trouble. Last week I melted the switch (No smoke just got stuck in the off position when it cooled down. ) and last night I melted the power connector and the Power connector and some of the case.

well I'm not so sure of that , the 12c watt Bulb generate 41 BTU's of Heat Per/Hr into the Housing. while the 28 Wat Bulb is 95 BTU's per hour. the system Using D batteries could run for about 1 1/2 ( which is what it was designed for ) Hours or approaximatly 60 BTU's of heat into the Housing Last night We had been out almost 2 Hours or approximatly 180 BTU's of heat. And it has to disapate all that energy some where. I guess I just have to ride faster to Keep it cool!stosh said:wow, with just a stronger bulb... hrmmm odd.

I did my first spinning class last night. It was a good cardio workout, the chick instructor was H-O-T! I think she had a cadence of like 160. It was ridiculous. My dumb ass is sittin there doing my 75 cadence, and she's like "3-2-1-sprint!!!", I was like, I am sprinting bitch! It was an interesting experience though.
The rest of the evening was kick ass as well

When you drive past the Exit for Florida/Goshen NY beep. I'm about 10miles off the Exit there is a slight chance I could hear you.jacksonpt said:I'm off today, hitting the road any minute. Should be a good time... not as much fun as riding, but still a good time.
I'm a network techinician for the company that runs the slots. Essentially I sit and monitor 1324 slot machines all day. And ride the monkey of course. :dancing:Heidi said:Really, what do you do there?
