2) i bought skis this morning so will just have to (poor me) hit up the slopes this weekend before the thaw. rossi 9X oversize, to be specific. 50% off + demo discount == too good to pass up.

yup. we'll see how whistler pans out this season, altho it probably will be less stressful in general on the hands since i won't be there for more than 2 days straight at any one point (lab job ). and lockon ourys and rogues are exactly the same diameter. the ourys feel nicer -- more rubber, less void.
