Out of my mind, back in a moment.
Morning.

Class, break, Lab, break, class class. Bleh. At least no exams until Friday.

No trick or treaters last night (not that I would know since I was asleep on the couch for a couple hours) so I've got a big jar of individual pretzel bags to snack on. Hrm.

I saw a woman in Costco with a big jar of Halloween pretzels. I wanted to push her cart over.

We got about 30 kids last night. I brought all the leftover candy to work.

Free coffee in the cafe today to celebrate our new garage grand opening this morning. No more shuttling from across town. HOORAY!!!

Good Morning!

We put an offer in on a house yesterday......We low-balled 'em just to see what they would bite on, and they actually went for a counter-offer right in the ballpark of what we think the home is worth!!

Today, we're gonna try and get them to bite on picking up closing costs too.......:brows: Hey...it's a buyers market, baby!!!

Congrats, Greyhound! Sounds awesome! :D

Good morning! It's going to be 80 and sunny today... woohoo! Not much here, but I do have one random question for all of you monkeys who like kung fu movies...

Do any of you know of (specifically, how to obtain) the movie "The Burning of the Red Lotus?" It's a movie that was produced in 18 editions (total time: 27 hours) between 1928-1931. A coworker is into strange things like this, and can't find a copy anywhere. Just thought I'd give RM a try. Enjoy the middle of the week, all! :)

went to see The Drones and The Devastations last night after trick-or-treating was done...they are from Australia and the concept of halloween is lost on them...dismal turnout, as people must have been @ parties or something...seriously less than 20 people at the gig.

at least i didn't have to worry about any random heads or arms blocking my photography.

good show nonetheless. both bands didn't do any 'jazz odyssey' moves, and gamely played on as if it was a full house.

Morning all. Hangovers suck. :bonk:

Had a decent night last night. Kelley and my neighbor's wife took all our kids out and I hung back at home drinking beers and handing out candy with my neighbor Jim. It was like 60 degrees last night so we set up some lawn chairs outside and put the cooler between them. We only had 9 kids, and I think I drank a beer for each one.

I love that smiley......

My bad...I forget sometimes we're a visual-oriented group. Here is the only one I have so far--I'll have more once I get them off my camera which is sitting at home right now.

Just about an acre lot....on top of a big hill(so plenty of room for jumps), about 1300 sq. ft. and built about 4 years ago, so we get a year warranty too...

Morning. No Halloween-related action last night, though I did see an Oompah Loompah on campus yesterday. Went for a night ride instead. It was nice and warm.

Have to pick out my benefits package at the new job today. My boss actually cooked lunch and brought it in for me. It doesn't get much better than this!

Looks sweet, Greyhound! Congrats.

Greenville is a mob scene every holloween, and an attorney who works in my office came in this morning saying he had been down to the jail, and there were about 75 kids there, which did not include the DWIs.

Good morning,

Fairly slow on the trick or treaters last night as well, except for one large imported family that came by for thirds. They could have at least switched up the costumes a bit.

WNR is starting tonight from a friend's house so something a little different this week. He found some connecting trails from his neighborhood to our "usual" WNR route.

First race of the Dust Devil Series this weekend. Going to give the sport class a try.

Have a good day.

Greyhound - that house is awesome.

Oh, Good Morning.

Had a good Halloween with Laura and her girls and Liam and Connor last night. Although, Liam only hit a few houses as he is still not feeling that great. It was so warm out for Halloween - that was a big plus.

Sometimes being divorced really sucks. I love that my sons are sleeping over on Tuesday and Thursday nights, but I also hate that I have to get them up so early and then drive them back to Bolton for school in the a.m. That drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour. It sucks.

Another gorgeous day today, after some rain during the sleeping hours last night.

Oh yeah and I had some Berkshire Brewing Company Porter last night - Damn good stuff!!! :thumb:

I think that BBC should become the official sponser of Team 4 Monkeys and a Baboon!

It's funny... I've only been separated for 2 months, but it sucks in a lot of ways that I never expected it to... but in other ways, it's not nearly as big of a deal as I thought it would be.

I just hate how it impacts the kids. they should be able to wake up in the morning in one house, get ready for school, and go. you know what I mean?

yea. My wife and I are doing that now... they wake up at my house, I take them to her house, she takes them to school. Fortunately, she only lives about 20 minutes from me (and right down the street from school/daycare). And my kids are young enough that they are pretty much unphased by that part of it.

Morning all! I had so much fun last night! We took Syd trick-or-treating and she was having a blast. She was laughing and waving "hi" to everyone. When she saw a couple of kids dressed-up as monsters, she laughed and then made monster noises (growls). It was SO cute!!!

Here are a couple of pre-pumpkin carving pics from yesterday afternoon.

the terrorists have won if we can't freely exhibit our constitutional (halloween) freedom of expression w/o some jackbooted thug arresting us.

i assume he wasn't in a train/bus station or airport?
