How is everybody today?

Man when you lose a day of work in a week is sure does seem to go by fast! It's a beautiful morning here today, cool but real sunny. I wish I had time to ride my bike during the week but I probably won't.

I was so pissed last night


I needed new tires so I went to BJs....you buy the tires, put them in your car, drive around back, bring your receipt in & leave your keys, and then wait for them to be installed, BUT when they finally bring my car in, they say they can not put that size tire on, WTF!!
That is the exact tire & exact size tire that's on there now, and the exact size that has been on my jeep for 96K!! them "sorry, cant do it per your info on the door & our little book"
so I have drive back to the front of the store, bring the tires in, return them, go get the size smaller, buy them, put them in the car, drive around back again, and wait some more!!!

Morning It's nice outside right now, but they are calling for more rain & T-storms. Doesn't matter...I will be hitting the trails tonight!

Right now, I am trying to figure out how to get some coffee 'cause my cup is empty and I need more!

I'm good. Had a few buddies over for a cookout last night, grilled up some steaks and salmon, knocked off a 12 pack of Newcastle. And a girl who I used to be very close with, but haven't seen in a year or so, showed up out of the blue.

Overall, a good night - and a good change from the depressing weekend.

Douglas - there are a lot of crappy tire shops. I have 2 really nice stories, but always want to hit someone in the mouth when I tell them so I will not share. Suffice to say, I think NTB sucks.

Yeah I'm pretty anxious to ride with ya. If you come down on a weekend maybe we can get Douglas to come too.

I have this one old friend.... a good old friend... she lives or used to live right down the street from where I live now. Anyway from time to time I hear that she's in town but I never end up seeing her. I guess though the thing is I'm not single so it wouldn't matter anyway. Man... I still remember the one and only time I kissed her. It's probably one of my most memorable kisses.....

last night's commute back was nice, v. good weather and fastest time yet (roughly half-hour; faster than a car, and just a few minutes slower than when there is zero traffic; caught the most of lights and had a tail wind for a bit). still, almost got T-boned when a driver was gonna take a left turn across the bike lane, just as i was sprinting to make the light.

grilled up some salmon, opened a bottle of riesling, and watched _paths of glory_. good night overall.

Nice! I mowed the lawn and prepped my back porch because I'm putting a ceiling on it this weekend.

Two words: coffee bags.

They make suprisingly good coffee, come in a nice compact box (read: concealable from theiving and stupid coworkers), and only require hot water.

The only thing to remember with them is that one coffee bag is designed for an ~8oz cup of coffee. If you're like me, you may not even own a mug that small, not to mention I like to make my coffee such that the spoon will dissolve if you try to stir it. I always throw two bags in.

Good to know....I doubt that my mug holds anything less that 16oz so 2 bags it is!!
