I did nothing last night aside from fixing my little bro's rear cassette on his Trek 4500.

Tonight I'll be getting my hair cut so I'm not all shaggy for vacation and starting to pack. I've been having trouble sleeping I'm so excited about going to Cali, tomorrow should be even worse....

Yeah it is terrible, ok so its story time.

I’m sitting at the bar last night hanging out with a friend, and the hot corona girl comes in to promote corona obviously...so being the beer snob that I am i am drinking a newcastle...mmmmmmmm newcastle

but that is a whole other story. Anyway she comes over and we start talking, then I notice our matching bracelets, they just happen to be the LIVESTRONG ones. So that spins off a whole other conversation about mountain biking and what not. She proceeds to talk about how much she wants to "get into" something "extreme" like that so guess snatched up the phone number WAHOOOOOOO. Everything was cool except she really didn’t know what the band meant, she thought it looked good with the corona get up (which it did) but she didn’t know it was for cancer which was a bummer. Buuuuuut once she found out she was happy she was wearing it...ok amen. i guess the red bull is having an effect on my keyboard hand.

o and by the way, she didnt talk me into corona. it cant be ordered in a bar. need the beach

I had to pick the kids up after work, take them home, and cook dinner. Wooo! But it wasn't too bad. I told my wife that too, and asked what's the big deal. She replied, then it can be my job from now on...Wait wait wait!!! I wasn't volunteering for anything. I also had my phone line cut because of my neighbors fence repair. They were putting new post in and must have cut it. I almost call the phone company up and cancelled my service. Land lines are almost not needed anymore, but they said they'd have it fixed this afternoon. Then I put together all my supporting documentation FedEx required for my damage claim(they managed to dent my Titus). After the kids went down, I cracked open a few beers and played a little Project Gotham 2 on the old Xbox.
Then watched the news and crashed. Pretty boring night.

Grabbed some chow at my favorite restaraunt last night - flirted with a waitress a bit... glad to know I've still got it neaky:

Riding tonight, if the weather holds, at a new set of trails. They are pretty close to the new house, which will make them very convenient if the house ever gets done (don't get me started :mumble: ). Hopefully they are good trails.

I'm debating getting rid of my land line as well. I just got rid of my dial up service. We have a bad line to the house we rent. We had the phone company out to see if they could do anything to fix it. They said they couldn't and it was my landlords fault. So since I have no idea when my landlord is going to dig up 75' of phone wire I had my internet service ended because it couldn't connect because there is to much static. I have crystal clear cell service at my apt.

my land line has been gone for months.....haven't missed it at all.

Morning - I'm just using a cell phone as my only phone - seemed foolish to pay SBC-SNET for my land line when I would hardly ever use it. I just make sure my phone stays charged up really well and so far so good.

Also cuts down on telemarketing calls, which is an added bonus.

This sadly is my last day of summer vacation. I go back to school tomorrow and will have to start waking up at the crack of dawn to be able to get there by 7. Anyways, yesterday I got bored and since I didnt have a ride to the lbs I decided to try pressing in a headset into my SoulCycles frame with only a hammer and block of wood. Definitely easier than I thought it would be. So afterwards I installed the crown race with a hammer and then popped the fork into it. Thats about all I've been doing lately other than not wanting to go back to school.
