I think my eventual plan will be just DH casing tires for the rear. But for now, I have a couple of Double Down tires to get through, and the Tannus is light (for an insert) and relatively inexpensive (for an insert) so we’ll see.

I also hated trying to install Tannus into rear wheels of our DH bikes with DH tyres. Much cursing and staring at them hatefully while part installed.
