brisket & roasted vegetables -> stew
half a roasted chicken -> broth
plus spending time in the woodshop because those cabinet doors are not going to glue themselves together.

Making the trek to the big city today to visit the in-laws. Always fun hovering over the little one so she doesn't destroy all the copious amounts of fragile shit they have at child level.
It's no wonder we don't visit more often when the place isn't remotely receptive to a kid.

happy new year you all. Went to see a friend’s band last night in Breck, practically carried the girl home around 9, long before midnight.
Our plan to get up super early and skin to the top of the mountain was canceled in favor of her having a splitting headache and needing to get ready to work all day. Oof.
Worked on a piece for a trail friend as a belated Christmas gift. Was a good way to transition from one year to the next by making something for friendship and not profit.

160s are being delegated to the road realm. Current gen RS Sid is now 180 min. I expect the next gen 32 will follow that lead
