last year was pretty boring, i'll maybe skip through the replay when the 3-4 fast riders go down
Pivot only puts sunblock on the top of their frames leaving the unprotected in the southern hemisphere.
Young relatively unknown southern hemisphere dudes impressed me more last year with some pretty wild rides going down.
I do love how in the “alternative” race series there’s a much bigger chance for some young ripper to make an impression.
WC racers have that slight element of caution so as not to ruin their season, but some unknown can risk it all and make a splash.
Also, seeing the pivot fail again is pretty fun, can’t wait to see what another video about how public failing just means they’re finding the limits better than the other teams.
actions were impressive yes, but tbh i rather enjoyed the build up videos, seeing them tackle all the different obstacles. the race itself was boring. especially compaired to the urban dh one in geneva, that at least hat some kind of suspense in it

I would assume that is not normal for both compression and rebound, at least with the bikes I have ridden. A broken collapsed suspension will tend to stay collapsed.

The problem is that as a race it isn't that interesting as it isn't competitive. A handful of elite WC riders against some washed up WC riders, noobs and some freerider types, not exactly a fair fight. Would almost be more enjoyable if they didn't have the super fast guys, watch the interesting riders try to go fast.
