Dig it, I'm putting together a light, cheap, 29 racer. There are a few frames I'm stuck between and I wanted to see if anyone had ridden them.

Voodoo Aizan
On one Scandal
Airborne Goblin (still trying to find the weight of frame)

If anyone else knows of a sub $500 frame that is under 4lbs then lets toss it in the mix. These 3 seem really close in geometry but tubing can play a large part in ride performance and quality. Hard to tell from pics.

My 22" Goblin frame came in @ 4lbs 9 oz. with out decals and clear coat...
I'm loving this bike...let me know if you have any questions about it...

Helios - define what you mean by cheap? As in what's your budget?

Bike only. Not alot of the online brands are offering frame only options anymore...not sure why

Giant XTC 29er is $500 up here in Canada. But I see on the Giant US website that the US sells them for $600. Not expensive and a really nice riding bike. I am riding mine with a 120 F29 and that is working really well for me. It is a bit harsh in comparison to mt Ibis Tranny carbon 26er, but carbon won't be cheap.
