haro is 8 or 8.5in travel, m1 is 9, the newer ones anyways.

rear shock, cambria has new haros for cheap.

they use the same rear ends, the front is different.

Another difference is the swing link, which is one piece and much stiffer on the Intense. Personally I'd pick up an Azonic Recoil with the same design and less money and warranty hassles. Use the money you saved on guess what? Beer and hookers!

The Haro that my bro has has narrower seat stays. The shock is also shorter than the 5e. Its the same shock as what is on a 2000 M1. Also, unless the design has changed, there is not room for a Ti coil. I am not sure if a 5e/Swinger will fit at all.

But it is well worth the 1300 or whatever they are being sold for now. All of the parts fit up the same as on an M1.

There is a guy selling a Haro DHR here on RM with a Romic with a ti coil so there are shock options and there is always the option to have Push tune the Fox RC which should make it into a great shock for that frame. I say with the price of the Haro its a damm good deal.

I fitted a 5th to a 2001 M1. You simply need a shorter model. I think 8.75".
To mount it: put it upside down in th etop hole on the link so that the piggy doesn't hit the link or the seat tube.
