The Eno Eccentric is, which is what I have, they also have just a regular Eno for horizontal dropouts. But when I tension the hub, it pulls the wheel crooked in the frame, i.e. not sitting in the dropouts equally. Gonna try taking a link out, that'll help it sit in there a bit better I think.
Had an issue today with the chain tension coming loose, I think it's just a matter of cranking down on those bolts a bit more though.
Didn't think about it pulling the wheel crooked. Aren't both eccentric sides of the axle attached? I didn't really pay attention, but I thought they were.

I got the disc version, and the WI eccentric disc adapter that allows you to adjust the caliper position easily.

I'll find out this weekend how it works.

Yup, both sides. It's a slippery slope, I think mostly because I hadn't gotten it quite dialed yet. Worked much, much better today when I was re-setting it after it slipped a bunch yesterday. Held tight on this ride. Wish I could say the same, as I was suffering. Lots more sustained climbs of the kind *just* a bit too steep to ride comfortably with my 32/16. 1 more tooth would've been awesome.
I just talked to White Industries, they make a 28 hole Eno disc hub, which means my plan is coming together...

JustJames - I checked my hub last night and both sides of the eccentric hub move together, not independently.

Maybee your axle is broken, or they may have changed the design.

No, mine do too. I think it's mainly an issue of chain length. I've figured out how to move the hub without messing with the axle too much, I was just a bit slow on the learning curve I suppose.
Gonna order up my disc hubs pretty soon too...

You people with more than 5 bikes need to kiss my ass. Your life is good.

And I say 5 because I own 4 and catch hell for having too many.
Also, you probably heard from Luc I'll be in Carson City soon. I move the 28th. HUGE house with lots of rooms, and a hot tub on the back deck.
He emailed me your contact info, just haven't gotten around to shooting you an email.

I'm gonna start building a DH bike pretty soon (yet another bike to neglect!), so we'll have to hit it up next season...

How can you own so many bikes and not have a dh bike?

That's like one of the four essential food groups.:busted:

Just fyi, there's a decent amount of riding between reno and garnerville for winter dh'in.........so the sooner the better.

You much of a skier/boarder?

Yeah, I know, but hey, I used to have 2 of 'em, so cut me some slack. Actually, I have a DH frame, but she's not build up, and honestly, I probably won't. I'll have one pretty soon though.
Sweet on the riding near Reno, etc, you'll have to show me a bit.
Not too much of a boarder, I have gone in the past, but I have a bit of a bad knee, so I can't go for more than a day at a time...
