I read a book about a Beverly Hills kid who became a Israeli Special Forces soldier. He commented that for motivation, they had his elite unit train with a group of screw-ups.
While they were criticized for the smallest infraction in order to maintain discipline, the other soldiers just laughed. There were in the army by conscription and could not care less about even defending Israel.

Last summer i did a favor for this guy in my job.... he wanted to get his Nephew into the IT field, and was in need of internship. So i was asked if i can take the kid under my wing and let him intern in the office.... i said sure...
The kid started and all was well for a week... then, one day he left for the day.... he installed AIM and was chatting with his buddy, about his job.
He said he works for a "Mexican" and that i should be "Mowing His Lawn", then he was saying stuff about Palestine... how all Muslims should all DIE.... etc....
I did not know he was Jewish, and didn't care..... The beef between Islam and Jewish people i try to steer clear... none of my business, but using the company computer when we log all Chat history on the firewall, and he must have accidentally hit print.. he actually printer the CHAT history and left on printer......
i was offended in many ways....
1. I am not Mexican, I'm a Puerto Rican man, who's Family has given much to this country.... My great Grand father fought in the Korean war, has 3 purple hearts, my father fought in Vietnam, came back with 1 purple heart & traumatized from the war (he committed Suicide in 1981 due to depression from the war) i had 2 brothers in the first Gulf WAR, and 1 one in Iraq Today and 1 in Afghanistan right now.....
2. I'm educated and have worked hard to where i am now.....

It's funny because, as a Jew, I was specifically taught to never refer to the ethnicity as a race. That's part of what the Nazis did to separate Jews from the rest of the population.
