what is the difference between all the hayes hfx nine brakes. (hfx v6, hfx hd, hfx carbon, etc. etc.)

strange coincidence, i was JUST wondering that myself as i have a hayes hfx (i think it is, oem on 01 fuel 90 disc) and had to replace the front. the lbs only had the hayes 9.
the only difference i can see in the lever body thus far is that the lever is retained via a hex bolt vs. the pin on the hfx. they both have dual pinch bolt and the throw adjustment seems to be the same as well. hell i really can't see a difference (it must be in the innards).

The carbons...have obviosly carbon blades.
