Hey, I live in this area and I doubt that any place in Montclair or Piedmont could even come close to any one of the taco trucks or restaurants down in the Fruitvale area. I doubt they would ever venture down to the flats to pick up on some of the finer points of authentic Mexican or Salvadorian cooking anyway. Just as well! We would rather have those folks stay east of the 580. As for Wier and the rest of those Marin county boys, they probably think they are "IN THE HOOD"when eating those burritos in Montclair.
The best mexican food seems to come from them roach coach trucks... once in a while there will is a good taqueria around though
I dunno about that place in Montclair, and Weir wasn't with me, but I got a burrito at one of the trucks off Grand Ave and ended up going on a "Hell Ride" all my own... 
i guess a free case o' the runs is almost as good as a vpfree!
