Any appreciable difference in Hayes round vs v series rotors? I found rounds for 10 and v8s for 16. Cheaper is always better, weight is not a concern, performance is.

The V8s are a much better choice because they wear a lot flatter. The round ones wear out extremely concave, very quickly - the V8s turn very slightly concave over time (talking 3 seasons in the Whistler bike park here) but much better value for money.
