I have changed forks from a 2002 Marzocchi Z1 Wedge with standard drop outs to a 2001 Super T with QR20 Dropouts. I was running an 8" rotor on my Z1 and transferring the same setup over to the Super T. Here is my problem. Both forks are set up with International Standard mounts I have the standard Hayes brake adapter for front 8" rotors. The fit on the Z1 was perfect not requirring any spacers but on the Super T there seems to be about 1/3 inch of greater gap between the fork mount and where the caliper needs to be. Has anyone else run into this problem? Do you just use a bunch of washers to make up the difference?

You might need an entirely different adapter. (98-15068 with the Wedge vs. probably a 98-15069 with the Super T.) I'd give Hayes a call to be sure.
The 98-15069 is the correct one for the QR20 and 8" rotor.

Hey Brian!

Thanks for your help! I found it hard to believe the difference in the spacing. I will pick one up this weekend!
