Is there a way to adjust the pads on my hayes mechanical disk brakes towards and away from the rotor individually? If so, how?

To make a long lesson short, read the manual, it's very thorough about this...

(Hint: It's the 4mm allen bolt on he back of the caliper...)

I don't think I have a manual. Unless by "manual" you mean one sheet of paper that has installation instructions? I can try to find it but I don't think it told me how to adjust that part.

cable tension will adjust the moving pad (so adjust the barrel at the lever, or move the cable around in the pinch-bolt at the caliper), and the 4mm hex key on the wheel side of the caliper will adjust the stationary pad.

Ok, tried that. The 4mm will adjust the pad in and out but it appears that it was already on the widest setting. Am I missing something or is there no way to increase the pad to pad distance? I cannot get my roter to clear both rotors for a full rotation. It hits at least one pad, and sometimes both.:angryfire
