Make sure your bolts are all tight to spec. After that, clean them again. most techs suggest using isopropyl alchohol on them, I guess you could use automotive brake cleaner, but only on the rotors, and don't get it on any painted surface. YOu have to be very careful cleaning them. Any time you touch the rotor's face, it will get oil on it, hindering performance. So wear nitrile gloves, and don't hink about touching them with a shop rag.

Also if they keep squeaking put a small bit of copper grease behind the pad (between the pad and piston) this helps to stop the pads vibrating.

I would also check the mounts are straight, if not they need faced. Have you spaced the caliper proberly so its in the centre of the rotor?

-caputo1989 -the best way to clean a rotor if it i squeeking is to take a propaine torch and het th roror the with a wire brush or fine sand paper scrape all the waste if the rotor.

Another way of cleaning the rotor is by spraying meths on the rotor and lighting it. Iam pretty sure this does not burn at a high enough temperature for the rotor to warp.

I think you could clean with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, then wet-sand with fine-grit, then isopropyl again. How do you clean contaminated pads???

mine started doing the same thing yesterday and i cant get the spacing right anymore. it is not the clenlyness if the pad or rotor because it is on my new bike w/ 8in rotors. i even tried cleaning them already. also cards wont fit inside the caliper w/ the pads and rotor in there. Do i just need to break the ciipers and pad in more, or is there a special trick. ( it is only on the rear rotor kinda weird)
