Rebleed them and make sure there's no air. You should get the power back when the air is gone...

Um, if the lever feels fine, you don't have to bleed it. "Just bleed them again" is what everybody says as if it's the wonderous cure-all for each and every affliction a disc brake can have. I'm surprised people don't recommend it for Avid mechs.

If you lose all your power, you probably got brake fluid on the pads or the rotor, and now they're all contaminated. You need to clean the crap out of them - put the rotors in the dishwasher, then clean 'em thoroughly with rubbing alcohol. Replace the pads, or put them on the stove on High for a few minutes to burn off anything left. Then go thru the break-in process and you should be good to go.

If the lever feels all mushy, then you need to bleed. If it's firm, it does not need to be bled.

i already burnt the rotors w/ a propane torch and brushed the crap off
ant put in new pads.
Do i just need more fluid?
With the Hayes set up it is hard to not have enough fluid.
You can have enough fluid with a crapload of bubbles it it. If the fluid coming out of the tube at the lever was bubble free when you stopped you should not need a re bleed. I agree with the other guy who said it seems like you got fluid on your pads/rotors.
