It's not that hard...I've done it a few times and I'm the type of person that does things fast because I'm impatient.

pretty simple, just be sure to keep everything clean and dont over torque the bolts. when reassembling the calipers. use a new o-ring with a Little o-ring lube. other than that just be carefull not to scratch any of the surfaces that need to keep back fluid. and lastly dont remove the pucks with a scrwewdriver!!!

what are puck? and the problem with mine are that they are constantly leaking from the caliper. they are the orange calipers so 02 i think. also i unscrewed the lever and for some reason i heard about something that you need a new one of everything you disconnect the hoses?

Sorry, I misunderstood your original question. I thought you meant mag 'levers' and master cylinder.

The only new thing you need is the "olive" or compression ring for the end of the hose when re-attaching it. They are a buck or two, or free if you're in good with your LBS. Cut the old one off with a box cutter and make sure the end of the hose is square. (Jagwire makes a really cool shop tool for this)

As for the calipers follow the rebuild instructions also found on the above link. The "pucks" are the caliper pistons and should be removed with compressed air. Hayes sells a rebuild kit for them too.
