I have a GF Tassajara that's a few years old, still stock. It has hayes sole brakes. I didn't get out much last year, but had no problems while riding. Now I got my bike back out after moving, and the rear brake was not working. I took it to the shop to have the rear line bled, and they said that it's a common problem to have the gasket leak with these brakes, they can order the parts, but it'll likely happen again.
Should I just fix it and go (about $20) or switch brakes? If I switch, what should I get? I don't want to spend a fortune, but I plan to ride a lot more this year and don't want to have ongoing issues. Suggestions?
