Hi All,
The headtube angle on my DMR transition is 71 deg.
On most BMX bikes the same angle is around 74 deg.
Can anyone explain the key differences this will make to bike feel/control?
Many Thanks
If you could isolate the head angle and not have other factors to effect the different feel of the 2 bikes, it would be minimal because the forks on 26s have more offset than forks on 20s, not to mention wheel size alone affects trail. If you did the math the two bikes you described would have similar trail numbers and that is what you feel more than head angle alone.

Again it is to allow the frame to be more responsive and nimble and allows you to better weight the front end, at 71.75 degrees under full compression the head-angle will change to approximately 74 degrees still less than the average park/dirt BMX bike.
