Unless you like walking, Wilderness Designation is bad for us!As part of the process, the Forest Service is required to look at areas that are roadless and determine if they are candidates for federal Wilderness designation (aka no MTB). Many areas historically visited by bicyclists are roadless:
Big Schloss,
Brailey Pond,
Elliot Knob,
Whetstone Ridge,
and Longdale Furnace to name just a few
Riders need to express their desire to protect these areas while mantaining MTB access.
