Why is it so hard to find a damn headset for this damn frame! I tell ya what, the engineers at trek are a bunch of fricken communists and im 100% sick of it!

Sounds like a good q for a Trek dealer...
Call cane creek they will sell the lower and upper headset assembly separate so you don't have to buy two.

Actually, it'n not common since the top cup is 44mm and the bottom is 69 mm. Cane crek is the only manufacturer that makes the special headset for this bike as I found out today at the US open. I am getting hooked up with one since I bought the wrong kind. They let me give it to them and they are shipping me a new one. THanks to the guys at cane creek for being fvcking awesome!
