Can you use a regular headset on a frame that comes standard with an integrated headset???

Depends on the frame, but they usually look funny and if they are used, there may be some slop in the adapter.
Usually not worth it, as it requires an adapter and it's just one more thing to creak. Just buy a Cane Creek or FSA headset that fits.
Does it have an integrated headset, or a zero stack headset? ZS headsets have cups that the bearings go into, integrated headsets have the bearings pressed right into the frame.
