Tucson, beatch!
Alright, now that I realize my Cannondale frame is made for Tattoo from Fantasy Island, I've decided to buy a used frame my size and build it up using everything from the Cannondale. Keep me on the road until I buy a NICE road bike next year.

So this brings me to a couple questions:

- How difficult is it to remove and switch over the threaded headset, etc? Would it be easier to have a shop do it? I'll need special tools, eh?

- Same with Bottom Bracket. Easy? Tools?

With both of the above... should I just buy a new BB and headset and have them "professionally" installed? Just so you know, I've never disassembled these pieces before and I know the headset might be a pain in the arse for a newbie.

Anything else I need to know about?

If you have a threaded headset, it is most likely a 1" headtube. Most newer road bikes have switched to 1 1/8" headtubes. One other thing to consider is that threaded forks are pretty specific to frame size(headtube length) and most likely won't transfer to a larger size frame.
