Ive got a headtube which could be a bit too big. My headset goes in a bit too easy. According to Parktool mthe difference has to be about 0,1mm but with my bike and headset it is about 0,05. My headset is a FSA the Pig Pro and if my information is correct, this is already a pretty large headset.

Does anyone know the exact standard size of a headtube and headset?

Does anyone know headsets which are a bit larger than standard ones?

I've had this before so I know a bit about it. I've got Loctite for bearing forces. I also know I could use a deeper headset like the Steelset but I would have to make the headtube size deeper for a Steelset does not go in when the headtube is not made to fit. I want to try normal things before I try that kind of stuff.

You should measure the the head set then measure the headtube there should be about a thousandth of an inch interference between the two. Most of the problems i ahve run into is the reamer that was used to ream the head tube got dull and cut over sized or not enough cuttng fluid was used.so I would start there.
