We’re just heartbroken. Someone just posted this footage of the town of Chimney Rock. Just 20 minutes from us. It’s been completely wiped out. Gosh, hoping everyone is okay. We were just there. One of our favorite places in the world. I’m gutted.

low-lying parts of ashevegas and hendersonville got fucked. french broad at asheville, well above previous record flood levels. wilson creek got record flooding too. will be interesting to see how it fared. fortunately the best porch in wilsons is above those levels. brevard seemed to have done ok.
