I have a 661 Evo Carbon from 2009 (red, white and carbon). It's been squeaking for as long as I can remember. Thing is, I don't remember at all if it was squeaking when I first got it. Sure, I've had some nasty spills, but I've never had any heavy impacts on the head. The outer shell is free from heavy scratches that I would associate with serious helmet-damaging imacts.
What are the chances that the foam has been compressed and I need to ditch the helmet, or the tolerances of the foam is just poor? Anyone else with the same helmet or similar notices it on their's as well?
