Anyone who lives in Asheville knows this is even more urban than Bent Creek and is in line with the city's master plan to link up to the urban path system that is progressing slowly. Take part, don't fart.

Greetings from Pisgah Area SORBA,

WOW! A mountain bike trail system close to home! We are creating a new system of mountain biketrails in the newly revised Richmond Hill area. This is a great opportunity to have great trailsright within city limits. Imagine the possibilities. Since this is in the planning stages....weneed your help! Join Mike Brown and fellow PAS members in planning and blazing new trail inRichmond Hill. The next few weeks are critical in laying out the new trail system.

Note thefollowing dates and come out to help! You don't have to be a mountain biker or trailbuilder toparticipate. Please dress appropriately for hiking and working in the woods.

Sunday, January 21 -- 10 am start

Sunday, January 28 -- trailwork at Squirrel GapTrail in Mills River.

Meet at the Turkey Pen Trailhead at 1pm. No experience necessary.
