Hi, I'm stuck with a dillemma here.
First- I want a 24" rear wheel
Second- I currently have a 26" rear wheel
but...- I could not find the right rear wheel i wanted so I want to just get the rim and fit it to my old hub and spokes, but I'm not sure if the spokes from the 26" will fit on my 24" . So, I'm just asking you pro's out there to help me out, how to relace and what spokes and stuff to get? This is my first time so I'll need help. THanks.
~Aaron
P.S. The rim is a Intense MAG30 24"

unlace the 26, throw the 24 on, with all the spokes going through the eyelets, then cut the spokes to the right length and tape 'em in. Just make sure you tape the nipples in there or the dang thing will fall apart before you can say "stoopid"

sorry, that was hard to resist. You'll need new spokes and nipples. Just go to your lbs and they should be able to help you out. Also, for your first time, it's easiest to look at another wheel with the same number of spokes and pattern and copy that one.

thats a very bad thing. maybe you should have someone at the lbs walk you through everything your first time. It's good to support those places if you can afford it.

Buy/build a complete 24" rear wheel..

Hubs are not that expensive and a extra wheel dont hurt..

Tearing down a 26" is a lot of time wasted.

Cheaper to build a wheel from scratch..
