The IH is tough to beat. The DW setup is very nice and they bike is light while still taking a lot of heat. I have seen that bike do freeride trails that would hurt some burlier bikes. You also get a lot of bike for the dough.

never been on the GF but my IH MK3 has been a great bike. Pedals great, descends great. I plan to get another next year.

I'd go with the IH. Great bike for the price like everyone has said. And, I think GF w/ the genesis geo. (although refined for the HiFi) is really hit or miss. Some people love it, othere hate it.

I dont miss my full susser one bit. If I had it to do over again, Id've bought an HT from the beginning and kept with it.

the gary fisher HiFi is just them redoing the old Sugar bikes. and those were a NIGHTMARE adjusting the front der to actually work
