I was waiting on you and your art experience
I did let it sit for a month to see what would evolve, but nothing hit me.
And yes, I have considered oils, but the way I work is suited for acrylics.... maybe in a few years I'll pick up the turpentine. I have no patience....I like to get things done quickly.
Well, some people hate oil... I still have a pallette with a glob of red on it from 96... if I cut into it the middle still has wet paint in it.
AS for your painting... I really like the hair part... but the stiff shoulders bother me more and more... Take a photo of someone laying like that and try to examine the shoulders as they are relaxed.
Very cool. Does the face have as much of a 3D effect in person? If so, I would emphasize the 3D effect of the head and torso and try to make the hair and background look as flat as possible.
