Apparently the bride and groom buy each other something. Anyway Aubrey asked me what I want and I said a new Cruiser Bike.

So I've been doing some research and these are the contestants.

Suggestions are welcome!!
I'm also looking to buy on for Aubrey in pink and suggestions are welcome on that as well.

getting Xtreme !
seriously... i like the kona more... have you felt the weight of bikes like this ?? they are pigs and unless you plan to ride it somewhere pancake flat, they are a hassle... the rubber alone weighs loads and thats rotational weight (think pushing shizza uphill)...

good for cruizing along venice beach (read posing)... but not real practical...

get a nomad instead :)

I've dealt with Kona Humuhumunukunuku Apua'a Deluxes, and I can vouch for them being as fine a cruiser as any on the market.

I love the stuff from Electra. IMO, they make some beautiful cruisers.

Felt makes great road bikes, but I'm not crazy about the rest of their stuff.

The Kona is ok.

Stosh - there is a dealer here that sells Nirve bikes.

The Cutting Edge in Berlin CT - perhaps they could strike you a deal on a pair of his and hers.

My LBS is looking into getting either of the 2 bikes above for Aubrey. :)

If he comes thru I'll owe him a 6pack.

One of these came through my LBS/shop with a different paint job, pretty cool really. Everything is oversized on it. Not sure on the pricing though.

It was cool, it was also the 'Hot Wheels' model! The tires were at least 3" wide and a super old-school motorcycle tread.
