Help me with this argument - SALT

Knuckleslammer

took the red pill
I'm arguing with a brainwashed co-worker. You know, those fvcking idiots that get all their information from FOX news and CNN?

I'm trying to get her to understand that REAL UNPROCESSED SALT is not white.

She's also trying to tell me sea salt is white.

RUBBISH

Sea Salt is not white. Natural salt is not white and it is not dry. It is a little gray with minerals and feels damp or clumps in humidity.

Fvcking stupid commie liberal. Can't stand this woman. Hope she flips her fvcking vehicle on the way home.

Why do you care one way or another? Seems like a stupid argument

Salt for human consumption is produced in different forms: unrefined salt (such as sea salt), refined salt (table salt), and iodized salt. It is a crystalline solid, white, pale pink or light gray in color, normally obtained from sea water or rock deposits. Edible rock salts may be slightly grayish in color because of mineral content.

Have her look at any container of salt:
99% salt
1% whitener

(something like that) ... although there is untreated white salt.

I already know it's not white. I just hate people.

Most of the day I go around wishing certain people dead. But not you guys. I am full of love for all of you.

Hey, hows Hubbleston? I use to live there. Loved it. 2 acre minimum to build was away from PEOPLE too. Out in the STICKS.

If you looked at that seemingly white salt up close you'd see that it's not pure white like morts table salt. Actually those assholes should be jailed for calling that rubbish salt.

Matter of fact, I hope morts and everyone that was ever affiliated with morts dies in a fiery auto accident.

why do you care what others think?

You seem to have a grasp that processed food is full of junk/crap. So do what you want, eat non-processed foods and be happy that you learned how to take care of your health before "they" got you hooked on pills/drugs.....

Reflection vs refraction. Break down large blue sea salt crystals into table salt size and they will look white.

Polar Bears are not white either. They just look white cause of their hollow hair.

Well I have real salt. It's not sea salt but from UT. Best salt there is IMO. Most would not agree that salts have a different taste but I bring a small thing of this stuff everywhere I go.

Crabjoe. Yeah, Hubbardston was cool. There was a sand pit down the street from me by a flea market they use to have on 68 that was awesome. Use to rip down 68 on my ATC 250R down to the pit.

Then the man came down hard on me. Suddenly riding ATV's out in the sticks was a problem. FTP!

Well normally I don't. She's one of those old school types. Older than me and stuck in her ways. I'm not like that. If I don't like something, I bend reality :thumb:

Kidding, that doesn't work. You know those type of people you meet. They don't even have to speak and you instantly can't stand them. She just moved into our psychopath area of the office and disturbed the psychopathic zen we had going on. Now we can't burp and fart anymore either. :D

I live literally 1/4 mile away from those sand pits. In fact there's dirtbike/ATV trails right behind my yard that lead to it. Everyone in my neighborhood has bikes and ATVs......except for me.

I have no idea where I am
You're right about one thing Knuck, there are a lot of different varieties of salt from various regions of the globe. Some sea salts are highly sought after by chefs and foodies. When I was cooking a lot, I had a decent collection of salts from around the world that I had acquired over the years. Each one had it's own characteristics that would impart a particular flavor to a dish.

One of my favorites was a grayish one from France, yum. Natural salt is nothing like iodized table salt, it imparts more flavor and is actually not as " salty " .

Trying to explain this concept to a fast food whore is like tying to teach a pig algebra, pointless.
