Well I air burpped my Shiver the other day, and it seems that I overtighten the aluminum bleed screw on the top of the stanction cap and broke the screw.

So the call goes out, I need a bleed (burping) screw for an 03 Shiver. From what I've been told this screw is the same for 04 Shivers and 03-04 Monsters.

Norco is a month out and will have to special order, zoki USA will also have to order. I will pay decent money for this small screw.

bolt shop? They can get you one I assume....is it special or something...the shop may have to order it but it will take days and will probably not be that expensive....if they don't have one already.

At bolt/fastener shops? If you are carefull it will be fine...if you ar enot you will strip out the aluminum fork threads. Try a hobby store like one that caries RC cars little aluminum allen head screw are the norm or they could be found.

-beware they may come in little packs with misc other parts, and won't be labled M2 or anything....and they will cost about 1000x's more than a fastener shop.

Its an M2 x4 or somthing tupid like that...

Go to your fastner store and get one. Hard Steel, Alum, Ti, Stainless. It dont matter, just plug the hole up before you flip it and forget.

I personaly run hardened stainless with anti seize bolts in my forks. If youve ever let a steel bolt sit torqued in aluminum for long enoug youll soon find how hard the oxide can hold it in there. POP! and lil smoke and its loose.
