Currently there is the possibility of Bikes being banned from an area that I love to ride in.

The full thread is in the bay area forum but I thought I'd cross post in case people weren't checking that.

Here's the link to the thread:

http://ridemonkey.com/forums/showthread.php?t=100712&page=1&pp=15

Also, Fox Racing has put up a website to publicize the issue:

http://www.foxracingshox.com/ftt/

If you bike in that area, or just believe that biking shouldn't be banned from a great riding area send a polite pro-biking letter to:

David Vincent, Superintendent of the Santa Cruz District
Department of Parks and Recreation
Santa Cruz District
303 Big Trees Park Road
Felton, CA 95018

you can also send email to:

dvinc@parks.ca.gov

Please help us keep this area open by sending polite letters.

Thanks in advance,

Benton

Note that this will also affect access to Soquel Demo Forest, as the fire road climb to the Ridge trail is technically in Nisene Marks.

If you need more info, there are threads on this in the Norcal section of RM, as well as on mtbr.com
