Hey everyone, my name is Ryan White and I am a 19 year old college student from Massachusetts. This year I have decided to do the Pan Mass Challenge, a 194 mile "bike a thon" from Sturbridge, MA to Provincetown, MA on the tip of Cape Cod. This summer is my first on a road bike and I have been training like a madman for this ride, hoping I won't die halfway through! Anyways, the reason I am doing this ride, is in the name of cancer research and for all of those who have been affected by cancer one way or another. Each rider has a minimum fundraising goal of $2,750 which they must meet in order to ride. This may seem like a lot, which it is, but by setting this minimum, it has made the Pan Mass Challenge the largest doner of money to the Jimmy Fund, nearly 46% of their anual revenue. Furthermore, The PMC gives $.94 cents of every dollar to the Jimmy Fund, the rest is used for the purposes of running the ride, so there are no wasted funds. You can be sure your donations go where they should.
